I posted this ad on craigslist and received a few replies. I want to clarify that I will need a flat mate starting December 1st, I'm sure there are people who want the place by Jan 1st, 2010 but I need someone who will move in there with me December 1st - it will be hard for me to wait 1 month for a qualified tenant.
That is me that you see in the pic taking a picture of the bathroom and my property agent in the kitchen. I just signed the lease over there last night for 1 year. This is the model apartment on the 7th floor and my apartment is on the 11th floor exact same place minus all the extra decorative pieces that you see in the pics. The place is fully furnished.
Your rent of $6,000 will include your room (plz see pic below) bed/writing table and wardrobe closet in the bedroom, electricity, internet broadband service (avaialble in the lounge area) and will get it in our suite as well, access to all amenities (gym, outdoor pool, free shuttle service to local MTR stations TST & Hung Hom). The sq footage of our suite is 650, its a big place and a five star hotel suite. Maid service is $490 a month and I want to get that as well which we can split, so your rent including everything is $6,250. The suite is FULLY FURNISHED
Thisis a very good price for this quality but I want to find good flatmates to live comfortable and respectfully with. Again I need someone in there by December 1st - I cannot show you the place but you can go your self to the hotel and ask them to show you the apartments over there which all start at $14.5K for a 1 bedroom and above (none avaialble at 10K as advertised on their website- they just generate traffic through that).

From the responses that I have received many people want to move in but they want to move in by Jan 1st, when there current lease is up. If you can afford to pay rent at two places for the month of December to reserve this room for yourself I'd be fine with it which I know will be tough for you. But then again I'll be here for 18 months as well, and your rent for 1 year will be fixed at $6,250.

I am thinking about going for the 2 bedroom and finding a decent flatmate to share the place with. The rent does not include maid service (additional $480/month) or electricity; my boss lives there and his electricity on average is less than $500 a month, last month it was $186 for him.
Internet is not included but there is free internet on the bottom of the concierge available to all tenants - we could add interest to our place and split the bill.
Here is a link to the place, I looked at the place yesterday and it exactly as the pics, nice and clean. It is just like living in a 5 star hotel and there is also free shuttle buses to the nearest MTR stations running every 10 minutes. The bathrooms, flooring, furnishings, everything is pristine/world class quality - very nice.
Rent for you will be $6K inclusive of everything for your 1 bedroom - this will let me be within my budget and I know that this is a very reasonable offer as I have looked at alot of places so far. I need to move in there by December 1st.
